Harnessing Digital Innovation for Sustainable Economic Growth
The 2nd National ICT Summit 2025 is Uganda’s foremost platform for national dialogue, innovation exchange, and policy-action alignment on digital transformation. Building on the momentum of the inaugural summit, this year’s edition focuses on translating national strategies into scalable, inclusive, and future-proof digital solutions.
Convened by the ICT Association of Uganda (ICTAU) in collaboration with the Ministry of ICT & National Guidance, UCC, NITA-U, and STI, the summit will spotlight Uganda’s readiness to leverage digital public infrastructure (DPI), AI, 5G, FinTech, cybersecurity, and data systems to create economic value, improve service delivery, and future-proof key sectors.
Rooted in the Digital Uganda Vision, NDP IV, and Uganda’s Digital Transformation Roadmap, the 2025 summit goes beyond inspiration. It connects policy with execution —mobilizing partnerships, showcasing innovation, and accelerating uptake of local and global solutions that can transform lives and livelihoods.

The summit will spotlight four priority areas where digital innovation is driving economic transformation and inclusive growth. These sectors provide a fertile ground for cross-industry collaboration, solution showcases, and policy alignment:
- AgriTech – Advancing climate-smart agriculture through digital traceability, precision farming, and farmer advisory platforms.
- HealthTech – Strengthening healthcare delivery with mHealth solutions, AI diagnostics, digital medical records, and last-mile logistics.
- EduTech – Scaling digital learning through e-learning platforms, AI-driven tutoring, and national digital literacy initiatives.
